Ok so…

Curious little thing I noticed earlier that I was rewatching some episodes. 

You know in the last episode, “The Dream Ends”, when Ton and Retsuko are talking, Ton says that he knows she hates long lectures from her “shitty boss”

Well, the only time Retsuko calls him that to his face and mentions she’s tired of listening to him is in “The Duel”

but of course, everyone was intoxicated, including Ton, and the next day he claims he doesn’t remember anything

So I was like “How does he know that’s literally what she thinks about him then?”

My guess is that he actually remembers everything that happened that night, but decided to let it slide, because maaaybe, just maybe, deep inside he knows Retsuko is right.
